Berkeley Field House Wedding

This is probably the most special KJ and Co. wedding in the last seven years, since my own.

When KJ and Co. first began, my cousin Katie and I visited Berkeley Field House during a a fall open house. As we walked around, she whispered, “I hope I get married here some day.”

I (sort of) patiently waited for the good news call, that Andrew had proposed. He was already a fixture at our family’s holiday dinner table. As time went by, Katie walked the aisle or attended at least three KJ and Co. weddings. And was even a second assistant or crew member for weddings, and Wed Well Showcase.

Finally, Katie and Andrew got engaged in the fall of 2018, and wouldn’t you know it, there was a Berkeley Events open house shortly after. We visited a few locations, and as soon as we stepped in to the Field House, Katie got that dreamy look in her eye. This had to be the place.

The beautiful space outside is like no other you’ll find in Toronto. For Katie & Andrew, who love to spend time with family in Collingwood, the outdoor space was a perfect fit. Inside, the reception space is light and airy, the perfect blank slate, that still has character.

KJ and Co. planned and designed a sweet and simple “new classic” wedding, captured by Deanne Macrae Photography. And Forever Wildfield’s gorgeous flowers brought the outdoors in.

It was the hottest day in July, but it was the happiest.
