If you have a few minutes to check out #trouvailleworkshop on Instagram you'll get a taste of what I'm talking about. (I'll be sure to share more photos when they roll in from Bradley James Photography.)
Not only did Rhi spoil us rotten with plenty of really awesome gifts, we were treated to beautiful tablescapes and gorgeous flowers for each class and meal.
I swear I wasn't just there for the swag and all the pretty details. There was lots to learn as well.
From the minute I sat down for Rhi's greeting and the first speaker on Sunday afternoon, I knew I was in the right place. This was absolutely worth the 5 hour drive. I was not disappointed - not for a second. Normally I'm homesick, and I hate to leave my husband for an extended period of time, but I had so much fun there was hardly time to miss home. (Sorry Dave.)
The speakers had great insight and I have plenty of notes from each session. (Now if only I could find the time to comb through them again now that I've returned home.) There was so much great stuff to absorb, each evening our brains were so full we could hardly decide what to order for dinner.
I'm so happy I attended, and to have met everyone involved. Thanks for the happiest three days of my professional life. It was a trip I will not soon forget.
What pretty tables, all set for "class". Nuage Designs linens and swag bags.
Ashley Brooke Designs treated us to new mugs at Monday morning's strolling breakfast. I picked "Miss Fancy Pants", obviously.
Tuscan-inspired tablescape at Monday's lunch. These linens and the cement vases were my fave.
One of the pretty centrepiece options for Monday afternoon's interactive table design session.
Rhi of Hey Gorgeous, doing her thing. So much fun to finally meet her!
Pretty table for Tuesday's lunch.
Learning about florals from Bows & Arrows was a highlight.
My first floral arrangement ever!
