After a peek at K&P's candlelit Spencer's At The Waterfront wedding, you might never know it came together in only three months. For these busy professionals, a wedding planner was a must. They were most excited about an intimate evening surrounded by family and friends, and sweating the details was not their cup of tea. So I dove right in, pulling together the remaining vendors and bringing a design proposal to life.
16 years in the making, this pair made it official at a traditional church ceremony in Mississauga. The wedding reception that followed at Spencer's At The Waterfront in Burlington was perfectly them, including their first dance as husband and wife to an upbeat song by Green Day. Claire Dam Photography captured the day, perfectly.
They trusted Becky of Blush & Bloom and I to surprise them with the florals. An exciting first for me. Two dining tables ran the full length of the room, filled with greenery, florals and mixed candles. Instead of a traditional head table, the bride and groom sat with their friends and family.

Mother Nature was a real you-know-what this fall. I think I get more upset than my clients do about rain messing with an outdoor ceremony. Sure enough, when a rainy day meant moving Jessica and Mark's outdoor wedding at Estates Of Sunnybrook inside, they took it in stride.
Being a part of this wedding was a real treat! Coincidentally, my cousin (and also my maid of honour) Katie had a hand in these two getting together. Jessica is lucky to have been friends with most of her bridesmaids since grade school and I've had the pleasure of watching them all grow up together.
Their wedding at the Vaughan Estate was classically elegant, perfectly them, and tons of fun! Ivory linens and pastel florals fit the space perfectly. Jessica and Mark opted for a sweetheart table, just for the two of them, so they could enjoy some important time as bride and groom and their large wedding party could sit with their significant others.
Congratulations Jessica & Mark!
